Boards Fire Emblem: Awakening Transfer save data? User Info: Karin Black Mage: Dammit fighter, White Mage doesn't like me because you're a rotten friend. Fighter: I'm horrible! User Info: shiningpikablu Sorry, but the only single-game save data transfer methods I know of are the method that transfers data from a physical copy of a game to a digital copy and not vice-versa, and the save-data backup feature that only works with digital copies and I'm not even sure it works between two 3DSes not involved in full identity transfer.
DLC is tied to the system. Any DLC bought on a system is locked to a system, and can only be transferred by full transfer of all data onto another 3DS. The two boxes on the bottom screen in file select are the in-chapter saves for Casual Mode. The three on the top screen are the standard save slots. I am a die hard Pokemon fan to the most, including the traditional hate of Yu-Gi-Oh.
Yeah that's what I was worried about : what about the SD card thing? Is anything on that? I'm not exactly what that is for lol Black Mage: Dammit fighter, White Mage doesn't like me because you're a rotten friend. Digital copies of the game also need an SD card; those can be found under Software in the data management.
As far as I know, there isn't an official method to transfer digital save data between two 3DSs unless you do a system transfer, which would erase everything on your BF's 3DS. Data saved on a SD card can't be used on a different 3DS without a system transfer and you certainly can't pull out individual data either due to the encryption.
Individual data as far as just my save and not his? I don't really care about that as I can just delete anything after I get it. That just seems weird. Navigate to the downloaded.
The game will now run on the emulator and you can play the game freely. Tip: Saving games on an emulator functions a little differently. The integrated save system will not save your progress. You can save your progress in whatever point you like within the game, not only on the official checkpoints offered by the game.
User Info: jonnovision1. Ouch, well that's rather lame.. Toney9 posted Have you tried just pasting that backed up data onto your SD card in the XL. Don't know if that would work, so if you weren't too far into the game you shouldn't risk it. Back up the sd card in you XL, so even if things do go wrong, you can just revert back to a previous state. MichaelXC posted I want to do this but I really don't know what is what considering how confusing the folder names are.
Does anyone know if the saves exist as separate files? And if they do, where are they? Is there any way of using the data I backed up? Say redownload it, and the copy the old copy of the game over the new copy of the game.
Sorry, if that doesn't make any sense, I'm really tired
