Fnv alternative start mod ttw download
Hotkey can be changed in MCM. Enjoy the 55 new tracks sustained greatly in style of original game radio - feels like a native part of the game, but adds so much variety and awesomeness!
Platinum Radio My personal favourite and very underrated radio mod - it's different but still in the same syle, adding a lot to original radio songs variety. Installation note : first, install the "Platinum Radio Ver. Note : it also adds a small cell and new NPCs with certain interactions in Freeside and Strip, so check these cities on separate save if you have overhauls for them before using this mod in actual walkthrough.
Enclave Radio Remastered A new dose of patriotism for your Wasteland! Lore-friendly ads. Easter eggs. New little and a custom texture and sound weapon as a pleasant bonus. Cool blues, swinging jazz and a risque ditty or two.
Papa Joc's Radio New radio station with over 40 new songs and custom dialogue lines. Milwaukee Mojave Radio Simple mod adding a radio station that plays the soundtrack of an obscure game.
Tune into Milwaukee Mojave anywhere in the wasteland. Select your own personal playlist in MCM with as many or as few songs as you want and enjoy listening to the music.
No Repeating Songs in Mysterious Broadcast The Mysterious Broadcast radio station plays songs randomly, which can result in the same song playing several times in a row. This mod adds a small script that checks the last 3 previously played songs so that the songs don't repeat so soon.

Higher Female Protagonist Voice Several flavors of higher-pitched replacements for the vanilla female voice. Companions themselves: Willow - A Better Companion Experience The most and deservedly known follower mod for NV with more than voiced dialogue lines. Willow reacts on events, surroundings and just always have something to say.
Also install this little improvement patch for her. Note : if you're using FCO as well, re-install it so you can choose patch for Russel it's a general advice for this section as FCO installer has patches for some popular follower mods as well, such as Russel, Deliah, Niner etc.
It allows you to build your own robots army and will greatly add to your gameplay diversity as well as roleplay capabilities. One more optional addon is available. Delilah- Mojave MD Over voiced lines, own storyline, new quests and much more other useful scripted gameplay features in this original follower mod.
You can also isntall an optional but actually great, I'm personally using it alternative voice acting pack for her. Niner "Sociopathic junkie friend simulator". Nothing possible can describe this companion better. Mod has several minor bugs, but they are not game-breaking.
Eliza A new companion for you to go on adventures with, a bunch of new quests and characters, a new town, and as always, at least one snazzy hat. All fully-voiced and really seamless. A visual overhaul of Eliza is also available. Tammer's Customizable Companion - Jessica Custom female companion - fully voiced, can be leveled up and customized by the player. Milton and Hans A business radroach companion mod.
Yeah, you heard it right. DUST Survival Simulator This mod is a huge and great, made by author of popular FROST mod for Fallout 4, a "whole game" overhaul, from combat and economy to hardcore survival and combat aspects and sort of survival horror atmosphere, but has plenty of glitches. Has many "matter of taste" features aimed on realism. DUST changes game drastically - gives own story and disables most of vanilla questlines, changes perk system and ocmbat completely, changes game world and so on - you'll be not actually playing and not playing New Vegas at the same time.
It's a great mod, just be sure that game world will be changed according to author's taste, so choose yourself - it's about either ths setting fits your wishes for gameplay. AWN takes inspiration from classic Fallout games and some from Stalker series, and same as previous one, it's aimed on much more challenging gameplay and harsh survival.
It almost tripples the amount of perks and traits in game and chances each and every gameplay mechanics in own way. It also has some bugs, which is nothing surprising knowing it's size and fact it was done by a single person. It was reported for crashing game as well, but not that often as DUST does. From these three huge overhauls, After War Nevada is my favourite one as it doesn't change game world itself and it's still much better compatibility-wise, so if you're hungry to try "all-in-one" overhaul, my advice is to try AWN first Fallout Days Of Chaos Third "whole game" overhaul which is pretty original as that transforms Mojave into some sort of horror survival simulator.
This mod has less crashes reports compared to previous two overhauls. Though, some changes, especially visual ones, are [really] subjectively-made. But who knows, maybe you'll like them? Also take into account this Days Of Chaos completely removes main quest from the game and massively changes factions and many quests.
Hotkey itself can be configured in. Configurable in ini file. Tutorial Killer Mod name is a bit misleading - it doesn't skip tutorial, but "kills" all that annoying messages that are attacking you first few minutes of the game.
It removes preorder messages! Includes several of the optional save conditions from the Fallout 3 version of the mod. Adds configurable keys to the game that enable the player to cycle through and use their hotkeys.
Using the default hotkey interface, which is normally accessed by holding down a hotkey, the player can quickly move through there hotkeys, and select the item they would like to use. This mod is ofc sort of "cheating" one - so use it fairly ; But it can be extremely useful for testing purposes. Quick Search Seach any item by its name or part of its name in your inventory. For real! Adds a customizable mini-map to the HUD display.
Also highly configurable in MCM. You can change all values in ini file. Allows to change light radius as well. Convenient Fast Travel Markers A vice versa case of "realism" mod, but may be very useful for people who actually love fast travel and want to improve it. This mod adds numerous map markers to various parts of the Mojave Wasteland, with the intention of reducing the amount of walking required to get to certain locations.
The inspiration for it, as per author, was playing hundreds of hours of New Vegas and getting really bored of always having to walk up The Fort just to talk to Caesar. Improved Transportalponder - Old World Blues Makes the Transportalponder remember your last location in the Mojave Wasteland, gives it a teleport visual, and allows it to teleport companions with you.
Drag Things to other cells Simply drag things to another cells. Now you can. Toggle Aim Aim down sights with the press of a button, rather than holding it. Note : this feature is already implemented in Project Nevada, needed only for those who aren't using it. Also install the improvement patch.

You can try OneTweak instead. Hide Immersion-Breaking Items Lets you store and retrieve the immersion-breaking clutter added to the inventory by various mods as their interfaces. Grand Tour of the Mojave Not actually a mod, but a beautiful pictorial tour of the Mojave done in screenshots and photos - comparisons between ingame places and them in real world.
Various tiny mods - these can tehcnically belong to any of categories above, but are usually really tiny or matter of taste ones, so grouped here. Buy or Steal Buy the items that are on display in any shops across the wasteland and includes an optional module that does not let you grab items that are not owned by you. Swimming and Rebreather Restoration Restores the swimming sounds and the unused rebreather sound. Any glasses with any mask Now you can wear any glasses with any mask.
Genius, isn't it? Worn Backpack A small mod that adds a new backpack to the game with custom model and texture. If you want more carry weight bonus and don't want to download additional plugins, you can easily modify bonus via FNVEdit in Object Effect section, Magnitude value. Motion Sickness Destroyer This simple mod removes all motion blur, double vision, and other nasty nauseous effects. Witcher Style Dual Rifle Back Holsters Adds a dual rifle holster set similar to Geralt's back scabbards from the Witcher games , one for your currently equipped rifle and the other which has a static rifle so it makes it look like you always have a rifle on your back even when you pull out a sidearm.
Cowboy Holsters Add new holsters for rifles and revolvers. Empty or Not Empty Tiny realism mod. Prevents the player from "magically" knowing if a container or a corpse is empty or not before having checked it. Empty Bottles This mod adds empties for items that are consumables. Realtime Player Death Makes player's death realtime without any slowmotion. Plays greatly in team with the next mod. More Frequent Merchant Restock Makes merchant restocking slightly more frequent - from 2 days per week up to 3.

They turn on at and turn off at Boulder City Super Showdown Mod makes some small but effective changes to make the Boulder City Showdown quest a bit more like an actual showdown.

Dusty distance Makes the in-game fog start closer to the PC. Working Vending Machines Vending machines now actually sell drinks. The Truth Is Purely for roleplaying purpose. NV Monorail Project This mod adds a functional monorail that travels between the Strip and the Freeside north entrance. You can travel on it or just watch it passing by. Rex Brain Swap and Overhaul Have Dr Henry or Calamity swap between different dog brains for Rex, and improvements to their different effects on your good ol' mecha-doggy. Prevents their regular effects from triggering unless you have ammo available for them, and upgrades these effects to be a bit more devastating.
Detonator Overhaul Selectively detonate your C-4 charges by aiming your Detonator, and make other explosive weapons able to be remotely detonated.
Then pick up this mod! I know it's cruel. Not using this one personally. But well, everyone on their own. Caravan Card Control Check out whether you already have a card before buying it. Mojave Outpost now you can unlock gate Allows you to open the gate on Mojave Outpost with lockpick skill Extended Dialogue - Vulpes Inculta Corrects a few dialogue mistakes and re-incorporates missing dialogue to Vulpes Inculta when meeting him in Nipton.

Mojave Express Storage Reworks Mojave Express dropboxes in to a universal storage system with additional mechanics.
Both weapons have also been added to the Shotgun Surgeon perk and, as a consequence, the And Stay Back perk if the player has Dead Money. Eddie Hears An Explosion This mod attempts to fix one of the clunkier moments in the game that had mistimed sound related to NPC action during the quest. Test it and decide if you need it or no. The issue it fixes is still only a cosmetic one though. Covers all DLCs.
This will help. New Vegas Bush Fix Fixes a subtle vanilla bug that plays bush rustling sounds when it shouldn't. Enslaving Arcade fix Makes it so you can give Arcade to Caesar if you miss the first chance. Useful mod for "bad guy" walkthrough. Legion AI-Combat bark fix Makes all legionaries use the same speed as each other that were not already set, does not affect legion NPCs with their own speedoffset for story elements.

Consistent Pip-Boy Icons Amazing mod that retextures billions of icons, and also has support for more than 50 popular mods.
During installation, be careful and choose options for mods support only if you have these mods. Carefully look through all patches and install ones you need. Note : these patches are fixing minor conflicts and none of them are essential, so you'll be absolutely fine without them and it will take some time browsing them to pick which you need, but it's worth for the best compatibility possible in smallest details if you want that.
Open files section, go through it, read carefully and grab patches or combinations of patches useful features of DiDisaan's work that fits your mod list. When finished, check author's profile , visit each separate mod patches page and go through them and pick up some patches that "YUP" page didn't cover.
Open LOOT and see if there are any notifications in it about that related to certain mods. If yes - visit each of that mod page and read carefully - sometimes these records are made for reason and are harmless.
But if you will not find any information stating this - clean the mod using FNVEdit. How to do so - looke here. The M. If you don't have Merge Plugins or forgot why you need a to merge mods, return to stability section, step It's not hard at all - just do it slowly. Watch this video for "fast yet enough" instructions or this video for more in-depth turorial yes, it's for Skyrim, but there's no difference at all.
Our main task now is to get amount of plugins to or lower. Merging process itself is very easy and the main issue is to know which mods you can actually merge. Try to merge the mods of same "common" category. Just grab some mods you want to merge and see if: - All mods you wanna merge are not directly conflicting between themselves, conflicts with base game. If answer to all 4 questions is "NO" - you can easily merge these mods in a few clicks using Merge Plugins basic functionality.
If some mods don't fit the "rule", just leave exclude them from to-merge list. And now, the exciting detail! This indicator means that 2, 3 and 4 in "Rule of Three" you don't need to check for this mod already - only check the mods for conflicts in FNVEdit, make sure they are contiguous placed one after another in load order, you can do this manually , and add them to the merge : 3 Repeat this until you have as many mods to merge as possible and make the merge.
Remember that in rare cases MP will show you errors in some mods, that doesn't mean crashes - you can ignore them to add this mod to merge as well, as showed on this screenshot. Note : in fact, both mods with. This said, merging both mods with navmesh records or. Such details are coming with experience and you should not be afraid of them - and you can always be sure that U. Run Wrye Bash if you don't have it or forgot why you need a Bashed Patch, return to stability section, step At the bottom, you'll see plugin called Bashed Patch, 0.
Right-click on it and click on "Build Patch" option, click ok and build the patch. It will take some time. If the process will be interrupted with some errors popped in window - just disable the mod listed and build the patch again.
This happens really rare, so most likely you won't even encounter that at. Now, watch the part of this video. Link is with timing, but just in case, you need to start watching from It's for Skyrim, but guess what - yeah, all the actions are the same for NV as well.
The only difference that you need to name your merged patch as FNVMerged. After it's generated, open it and delete leveled records also shown in the video. Deleting the leveled records is needed as Bashed Patch that we made in previous step, handles this a bit better. Now, as some records were deleted, Merged Patch most likely will have several master files listed, but not needed.
Right click on the FNVMerged. Close and save when asked. Check everything yourself. No automated tool is perfect - so when your Bashed and Merged patch plugins are ready, load them in xEdit and go through all sections in them yourself, seeking for irrational records.
For example, you may see duplicated items on traders, wrong perks on enemies, or improper NPC visual records which often leads to infamous "dark face" bug. In other words, just go through without a rush and see if you'll see anything suspicious - and if you'll see such records, correct them by dragging proper values from the mods into the bashed patch records.
Now, let's build our LODs in the best way possible! If you are still not quite sure what LOD is and why you need to do something about it, watch my video which explains that on fingers. Ready to get beautiful and matching distant views? Now, what you need to do: 1 First of all, backup your current LOD-related files.
In it, create 2 separate folders. Great - now, if in any case something will go not right, all you need to do to "fix" your LODs and restore them to vanilla state is to delete respective files inside your Data folder and place back ones you wisely preserved.
As that's a program and not a mod in usual meaning, you're running it's exetucable file itself, not through mod manager - that's why we made files backup before. But please take into account that all issues, if you'll have them, you should report to xLODGen forums, not the U. You did it! Your mod list is ready. Now, the final step. Proceed to Special Section in the very end of the guide. Then run LOOT the last time to sort your load order, and start your journey! Wan to support the development of this project?
Don't forget this fix , this fix and retexture. You can merge them together without issues. Now, proceed to "Few Last Steps" section, just before the Modules section itself. Mod list: SGO for NV SGO is the definitive perk, enemy and balance overhaul I made myself after over a year of work, designed to make game much more challenging, rewarding and fun.
Gas Masks of the World Also install all 3 update files. Good, let's continue. Also install this and this. T Power Armour Install the update as well. Tesla Weapons Pack Also grab the fix. Turbolaser Weapon Pack The next few weapon mods are completely optional - each of them is adding a single weapon of a certain type, to make a nice lil addition to total amount of guns in the game which was alredy much higher than the energy weapons, for which we grabbed 2 bigger packs above.
ENB preset recommendations : no direct recommendations here - it's all up to you. Mod list: Project Nevada One of the core mods in our list. It also has great compatibility support to use with other great gameplay mods, and as for some other conflicting features that we'll have done better by other mods, we can just disable respective PN features in MCM.
A great, solid base for a heavy mod list with many unique features. Choose all options during installation. Note: Lately, a decent amount of mods is available to replicate some of the most noticeable Project Nevada features asides from the game difficulty rebalance.
It's stil not everything, but already most of them are available these mods are using more modern scripts and so, a better for a heavy-modded setup, especially if you'll be installing more scripted mods on your own on top of this module.
It's quite easy! Mod list: Project Nevada Choose all options during installation. Note 2: Lately, a decent amount of mods is available to replicate some of the most noticeable Project Nevada features asides from the game difficulty rebalance. This means classic Fallout T. A little explanation here. Gobi Campaign scout rifle has 48 dmg at Guns and 24 dmg at Guns 0. This indeed gives the decent rewarding feeling for raising your skill, but also greatly adds to silly vanilla "sponginess" system.
The thing is, weapon skills of most NPCs are between low and moderate from 15 to 40 usually. Heck, Brotherhood security chief, paladin Ramos, Energy Weapons skill is 13 wtf. This means that with vanilla formula, most of NPCs weapon dmg will almost always be twice as low, which gives you advantage out of nowhere. The need of this is pretty similar to the explanation about skill weapon damage influence - to minimize "sponginess" system due to most of NPCs having their weapons at pretty "used" condition.
Anatomic Perks. Well Rested Overhaul. Alternative Repairing. Cover Based Stealth Mechanics Install both main files. More Conditions to Fast Travel. More Realistic Aiming Also install a fix for it. Immersive Recoil 2. FO76 Style Mutations. Addicted To You Remmeber that if some fetures will be too hardcore for you, they can be configured in ini file anytime.

Brotherhood of Steel Wasteland Presence. Great Khan Wasteland Presence. Home On The Wastes. Unfound Loot "Balanced" or "Hardcore" presets are recommended to choose - but feel free to experiment ofc :.
Take Chems Make Fiends. Encumbrance Damage With this, you'll be more sensible with their carry weight, and not just pick up everything they can find and walk half a mile towards a shop. Be Merciful.
Tin Cans to Scrap Metal and Reverse. Dead Money Survival Rebalanced. Doctors Heal Companions. No Stealing After Repair. Loot Unconscious Victims. Couriers Stash Pre-order pack selector Recommendation here is to disablle all of them for balanced game start.
Drag Things to other cells. Any glasses with any mask. Harvestable Cave Fungus. Honest Hearts Letter. A Crime Against Nature Abaoslutely amazing, innovative cannibalism overhaul. Optional as not every player decides to get this perk at all, but if you planning to - this mod is absolutely assential. Also install a complementary mod for it. Stamina Really great realism mod, yet, may be somewhat too much together with all mods in this module, for some players. Optional one.
Try playing with it a bit on a test save and decide if you actually need it. Mod list: A few mods under the next spoiler are absolutely optional. NV modding stage has too low amount of melee weapon mods, so I've included some nice ones - they may or not fit your taste. Can be found in front of the Abandoned Shack.
Machete True Killer. Sabre Weapon. Balisong Butterfly Knives. AE Seiryuu Beam Katana. Ka-bar knive by Eprdox. Happy Widow Powerfist Set. Melee Cleave a. Sweep An absolute innovation for any melee player. Makes melee attacks hit multiple enemies for a more satisfying melee gameplay. You can also turn same feature on for NPCs for even more fun.
Poisonous Poisons A highly realisim-oriented mod, which will make melee gameplay much more challenging - but also giving you new features related to poisons you use. Optionally, but recommended, also install this little mod as a complementary one. Cover Based Stealth Mechanics Essential mod if you'll be playing more as a stealthy melee character, making assassinations more challenging - and just a great addition in overall.
Fallout 4 Power Armor Features This mod is absolutely essential if you're planning to play as a "heavy" melee character. Just look on the list of features and you'll see why. Librarian Of The Wastes From a roleplay perspective, melee characters are often related with chems heavily - and this mod has a special perk for crafting chems with permanent effects.
Future Fallout Chems And one more brilliant mod for crazy chem addicts. Stamina Optional mod which, if you like realism and hardcore gameplay, will add greatly to melee gameplay. Skirmisher - Throwing Weapons Expansion Same here. A Crime Against Nature. Cannibal Reborn AS per statistics, most of players who are taking Cannibal perk, are usually playing as melee characters. If that's a case - these 2 mods will be a game-changer for you. Converts cannibalism into a skill which must be mastered, and which can be taught to one's companions, gives new visual effects and more!

Its no secret that Enb for New Vegas can have some bugs and transparency issues, the only ones I ever use for New Vegas is Rudy Enb or Hitmans 47 ENB 2 The Sequel, they are both great looking enbs, but ever now and then I will see a small issue, like at Camp Golf, inside the House Resort the walls are transparent, by going to my game folder and opening up the enblocal.
Only use 1 Enb section, either Hitmans 47 ENB 2 The Sequel or Rudy's, I suggest you test them both out and see which one you like best, they both have there own weather plugins Turn off Antialiasing, Anistropic filtering and Water Displacement in the fallout new vegas game launcher options hdr must be enabled in the game settings for enb to work Make sure you turned off Steam Overlay as I instructed earlier in the guide, it causes graphical problems with enb and is not compatible Go back and check all 3 of the Npc tweaks ini files we did above in the guide, to make sure you did not reset them by launching the regular game launcher to turn this stuff off, if they did reset, redo them real quick, save your changes and do not use the game launcher again, only boot from script extender 47 ENB 2 The Sequel [drive.

I have provided both my Terrain Lod and Objects Lod Output at the end of this section, if you used all the textures and landscape from my list you can use it, but you must still install all the stuff here in this section, for it to work Using a lod can cost a little performance, you will have to test it on your system and see how it does, for me it runs great FNVLODGen [www.

Goonz [author] 3 hours ago. Romanovzky Yes it is borderless, and I need to make that clear in the guide, i play in p to, and if it was windowed mode with your task bar across the bottom of the screen, i wouldnt play like that either the game has to be in Windowed mode for the bModifyDirectXBehavior fix from tick fix to work, then after you install one tweak, it enables borderless windowed mode that looks exactly like fullscreen and enables alt tabbing out of the game off the top of my head Im not sure about the metric and imperial system, i would have to look into that one for ya.
Romanovzky 3 hours ago. HI Goonz, thanks for the guide. A few things: you recommend windowed mode, but my screen is only p and it cuts the bottom of the game screen if I play windowed. Is there a borderless mode? Another thing, is there a way to use the metrics system instead of the imperial? It really bothers me to have distances in feet LivingTh1ng 20 Nov am. Goonz Got it, thanks man. Goonz [author] 19 Nov pm.
LivingThing I just seen your comment, I dont know why, but steam constantly unsubscribes me from my own comment sections, on all my guides Yes this list is awesome, and certainly worth redoing for all the gameplay and addon content, my old list was mainly all textures, because when i made the guide last year I set it up for a pure beginners list, most of this stuff requires a new game, or you will experience wacky stuff like floating objects.
LivingTh1ng 18 Nov am. Goonz Hey man I just finished the list like a week ago and I noticed theres some new stuff on here now, would you say its worth redoing the list or is it mostly just minor QOL additions?
Goonz [author] 17 Nov pm. Everyone If anyone has finished the new updated list, I just updated the main conflict resolution patch, i forwarded some lighting from the Ultra Lux mod, and some yup changes for the Ultra Lux mod, you might wanna update your patch. Goonz [author] 15 Nov pm. Goonz Haha I just started to get to the bottom of the list. I would hate to start over but I'll take your word for and wait for the new list it if it will be even better.
Thank you much. Goonz [author] 14 Nov pm. Mine are in middle of screen. I just need to change the Y position and need help finding the file. My game is heavy modded TTW version so I want to adjust instead of reinstalling darn. So I have a problem with the UI, and this is because of issues from Vortex. Apparently each time I deploy my mods, 10 files out of the 95 96 if you count the readme that was in the original. Then when I go in game, my HUD is gone, my pipboy gets scrambled texts that are closed in together, etc.
I CAN put the mod back into the folder each time I deploy my mods, but it's just tedious as hell and gets annoying really quick. Is there a possible way of fixing this issue, either on your end or from Vortex? I'm not familiar with the way the mod is structured, but I know Vortex is finicky when it doesn't understand stuff as many MMs are. I don't know whether Vortex will put anything outside of that fake "Data" folder, in other words, what would be the game's root directory.
If there are "optional" files for you to manually select or alternative plugins, those wouldn't be installed properly or loaded in the game. Another important thing is where your game and mod directories are. If your game is installed under Program Files or Program Files x86 , Windows may very likely "fetus deletus" anything it sees go through that it doesn't like. Steam's default directory is under x86 so I had to move my FNV to a new root folder on C: when I tried to install ENBseries the first time, or the game simply would not launch.
That specifically is a very common issue, idiosyncratic of Windows. I just happened to never have any issues until I tried ENB. I beg you good people, help me! My main menu and dialogue texts are on top of each other. I've already edited my INIs. What should I do? Same issue here. Things were going as expected with Darnified UI. If I had manually edited my fonts, I might have been ok. That's when my menus overlapped. Too bad. I really wanted to use Darnified UI. I Apparently, I should have made the font changes myself.
I want to rescale my HUD, can I do that? Only registered members can share their thoughts. So come on! Join the community today totally free - or sign in with your social account on the right and join in the conversation.
